Area Sales Manager required for an international organisation in the manufacturing sector and supplier of industrial machinery and electronic machinery (operations based in America & Europe)

 This position is based in the West Coast of America.

Main Responsibilities:

• You will be predominantly focused on sales in the territory for which you are responsible for but also maintaining and developing existing client relationships and making sure that all targets are met.
• Developing a detailed and strategic plan to ensure new opportunities within the territory are identified and actioned.
• Visiting clients on a regular basis to maintain relationships and secure loyalty.
• Attendance of trade shows as required
• Commitment to providing a quality and reliable service

 Required:

• Excellent communication skills as you will be maintaining and developing client and industry relationships
• You will have a background in an engineering discipline, and a strong history of success.  
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager capacity
• A 3^rd level qualification in an engineering or science discipline 
• You will need to be an enthusiastic and driven for the enormous prospects for career progression but also maintain a professional, reliable focus for exceptional customer service when dealing with clients.
• A zealous and driven attitude is essential – the focus is on getting the order with integrity.
