Next Generation's response to the spread of Covid-19

Covid 19

Like you, we’ve been thinking about the best ways to keep supporting our candidates and clients during this challenging time. Our first priority at Next Generation is the health and wellbeing of our staff and their loved ones, the companies we work with, and the candidates we support with their job searches. With the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation developing quickly, we want to share what steps we've taken over the past week to protect these groups.

First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we're truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers in Ireland who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.

Remote Work

Second, at Next Generation we have asked all team members to work remotely until further notice to help reduce the risk of infection. This mandatory work from home policy is a precautionary and proactive measure to reduce exposure to Covid-19 and to keep our employees and communities safe. We are ensuring all our staff have the necessary equipment and other supports needed to work from home. 

Business Continuity

While our physical offices are closed, Next Generation is still fully operational with our team supporting clients with their hiring needs and candidates with their job search. We have confidence that our remote working infrastructure will allow us to continue to be fully operational over the comings weeks and months to support everyone during this difficult time.

Interviews & Meetings

We are hiring for a number of roles across all sectors at the moment. Over the past week, our clients have adapted their recruiting and onboarding processes to be fully virtual, so any interviews will happen over Skype, Zoom or phone for the foreseeable future. Many companies have also introduced a fully remote approach to their onboarding processes to help new team members during this uncertain time. Our team will continue to advise and support companies who are adapting to this practice for the very first time.
