An established wholesale distribution organisation, part of a wider group operating across Ireland and the UK, is seeking an experienced Distribution Operations Manager to lead a major transformation in their warehousing and distribution operations.

Following significant changes, the business is investing in its distribution capabilities, including the implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS). This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence and shape the future of their new Distribution Centre (DC) and wider network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full P&L responsibility for warehousing and distribution operations.
• Oversee distribution across 2,000+ locations, managing 15,000+ SKUs.
• Lead inventory management for customers and the organisation within the DC.
• Develop and manage a team of 30+ warehousing and distribution staff.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance within warehouse operations.
• Drive the successful implementation of a WMS in the DC.

Experience & Skills Required:

• 8-10+ years of warehousing and distribution management experience.
• Background in FMCG or retail distribution preferred.
• Proven leadership in managing and developing large teams.
• Experience in WMS implementation is an advantage.
