My client is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations of their company's facilities. This role is at the heart of promoting a productive, safe, and efficient work environment for the team and visitors. What You'll Do:

Facilities Management

  • Ensure our facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained and operational.
  • Oversee building repairs, renovations, and maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships for cleaning, security, utilities, and more.
  • Develop and manage the annual facilities budget, keeping spending efficient and transparent.
  • Conduct regular inspections, address maintenance needs proactively, and track all facility-related issues using reporting tools.

Health & Safety

  • Enforce health and safety regulations to protect employees and visitors.
  • Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with department managers to develop escalation and reporting processes.
  • Work closely with HR and Operations to integrate safety and facilities procedures seamlessly.
  • Share policies and best practices with other business units to strengthen companywide alignment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven Expertise: 3+ years in facilities management or health & safety, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, building standards, and facilities management software.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive mindset with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • People Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage employees, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
