Job Description:

The Health & Safety Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining a safe work environment. They will work closely with the Health & Safety team to implement, monitor, and improve safety procedures and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and compliance.
• Investigate and report accidents and incidents, and implement preventive measures to reduce the risk of reoccurrence.
• Keep abreast of industry safety regulations and best practices, ensuring the company's compliance.
• Train employees on safety protocols and provide ongoing safety education.
• Manage and maintain safety records and documentation.
• Participate in emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Relevant certifications within health & safety.
• 1-3 years of experience in health and safety coordination or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
