Material Movement integrator

This philosophy of the warehouse operation is Just in Time (JIT) material movements, minimising existing site warehouse resources to move materials only when required by production. It is not planned to have a permanent Warehouse/Weigh and Dispense presence so accurate Stock levels and efficient material transfers are pivotal to the success of the JIT warehouse.

A mindset of Safety First, Quality Always is required by the candidate, leading by example to promote this Way of Working. Another requirement for the role is to exhibit and promote a continuous improvement culture aligning with MPS principles.

The Role:

  • Take custody of Primary packaging and Single use materials BOM in the Warehouse. Perform Wipe ins and Delayering through PSA from Unclassified to Grade D ahead of batch activity.
  • Set up and manage Kanban's in PSA and IPT and coordinate signals back to existing warehouse for efficient transport of materials.
  • Take Custody of Kanban Material in the Warehouse, Replenishing existing Kanbans
  • Liasing with Facilities, Ensure Vendor Managed inventory (VMI) and replenishment of same is in Place
  • Ensure SAP Material accuracy and visibility in IPT, Completing Prod 183 cycle counting and ensuring accurate consumption of Material to process orders.
  • Develop as a SAP SME, Promoting and Raising the proficiency of SAP usage with IPT
  • Monitor Ambient Capacity levels and ensure spaces are allocated as per the agreed allocation strategy (Key back up batches available for critical materials)
  • Monitor 2-8 Capacity levels and organise timely transfer of materials to Main Site 2-8 Warehouse

Skills & Experience

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Experience in working in a GMP environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of working within a well-established, high performing teams.
  • Previous Warehousing Experience
  • Proactive attitude towards their work and ability to multitask when required
  • Excellent knowledge of cGMP and GDP preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and job- related computer applications
  • Excellent time management skills - have demonstrated ability to meet strict timelines
  • Strong Influencing skills
  • Goals oriented
