About the Company:
Our client, a leading FMCG organisation, is seeking a dynamic Procurement Executive to join their procurement team. As one of Ireland's top food manufacturers, they offer excellent career progression opportunities in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Executive will manage relationships with a range of ingredient suppliers across Europe. This role involves frequent travel and requires a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, eager to grow their career within a thriving business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of ingredients.
• Assist the Procurement Manager in sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with production schedules and organisational goals.
• Maintain accurate supplier performance records and procurement reports.

Key Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within the FMCG sector.
• Valid working visa (applications from non-permit holders cannot be considered).
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
• Full, clean driver's licence.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with procurement software is an advantage.
• A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach.
