About the Role:

A leading pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee all indirect spend for their South Dublin site. This pivotal role involves collaboration with global category teams to align with group strategies and requires expertise in a broad range of indirect materials and services (specifically CapEx) ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage indirect procurement activities across the site, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
• Manage substantial spend particularly across Capital Expenditure projects for the site
• Develop and execute robust tender processes for site procurement requirements
• Negotiate and manage complex contracts, including legal agreements
• Collaborate with engineering and building contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
• Engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders across various functions.
• Travel across Europe to liaise with contractors, suppliers, and global teams.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience managing site indirect procurement spend, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Significant expertise in leading tender processes and negotiating high-value contracts.
• Exposure to large CapEx project spends is a necessity
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.
• A valid working visa enabling frequent European travel is essential.
