Are you ready to lead impactful projects in a fast-paced technical environment? Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team, delivering innovative engineering solutions to support our business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to manage diverse projects from scope development to handover, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead integrated project teams to deliver on business cases, focusing on process improvements, capital projects, and lean initiatives.
- Manage projects from scope development through design, build/install, and qualification.
- Develop and maintain project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate and present project stage gates to the Capital Approval Committee.
- Utilize risk-based approaches for troubleshooting and future project planning.
- Collaborate across functions to integrate projects into ongoing operations, technical transfers, and validations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on equipment design, qualification, and compliance standards.
- Promote lean methodologies, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making within the team.
- Drive continuous improvement by participating in system investigations, change control, and Kaizen events.
- Integrate Computer Systems Validation (CSV) activities in collaboration with Automation/IT teams.
- Partner with global engineering services, facilities, and vendors to deliver projects on time and in full.
What we're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience leading capital projects (>$5MM) and technical teams in a manufacturing or sterile environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in sterile filling processes, aseptic processing, equipment validation, and regulatory standards.
- Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in lean six sigma methodology.
- Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally, manage vendors, and drive safety and compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma is advantageous.
