The Role - Quality Assurance Supervisor
Are you passionate about food safety and quality? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is key? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Naas, Co. Kildare.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and implementing Quality Management Systems, ensuring all products meet the highest safety and customer standards. You'll work closely with operations teams, conduct audits, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing QA issues that impact food safety, quality, and legality
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
- Supervising on-site quality control checks and daily monitoring
- Conducting internal audits, non-conformance investigations & corrective actions
- Supporting training initiatives on hygiene, QC, and food safety standards
- Ensuring full product traceability and customer complaint investigations
What We're Looking For:
- Diploma in a Food-related discipline (or relevant experience)
- 1+ years of QA/QC experience in food manufacturing
- Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and computer literacy skills
