An enthusiastic EOHSS Advisor is sought for engaging multi-disciplinary projects within a dynamic environment. Join a seasoned team of EOHSS practitioners supporting your growth in a progressive organisation. This role centres on guiding EOHSS practices at a Bio-Pharmaceutical facility in Dublin.
Role:
- Apply and enforce the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Provide on-site guidance to the project team on legislative compliance and company procedures.
- Cultivate a positive Health and Safety culture with Project Management, Sub-contractors, and staff.
- Foster collaborative relationships within the project team.
- Ensure appointed contractors fulfil the duties of PSCS.
- Monitor EOHSS compliance, conducting weekly inspections and generating reports.
- Develop and implement robust site EOHSS procedures, ensuring statutory and environmental safety obligations.
- Review and contribute to relevant EOHSS plans and documents.
- Lead EOHSS meetings on-site.
- Liaise with the Onsite Project team, PSDP, and design team as needed.
- Review and provide feedback on Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Lift Plans.
- Coach and mentor contractors on EOHSS best practices.
- Communicate with local authorities and external bodies as required.
- Influence and coach the project team in implementing best practice EOHSS standards.
- Provide advice on health & safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees.
- Ensure accurate reporting, recording, and investigation of accidents.
Requirements:
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience in an EOHSS role.
- Motivated individual.
- Previous Bio-Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with a PSCS contractor.
- Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft suite.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and manage stakeholders.
