Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Interim (Day Rate or FTC)

We are seeking experienced Senior Procurement Professionals to join the expanding global procurement team at our client's newly established global corporate office in Ireland. Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation, operates across more than thirty manufacturing sites worldwide and is undergoing significant expansion through M&A and product innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with category leads and senior leadership, advising on the best e-auction category strategies.

  • Manage e-auction tools such as Ariba, Coupa, and Workday - Scout RFP, including vendor onboarding, ongoing management, and catalog oversight.

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing events, including requirement gathering, supplier analysis, RFP creation, e-auction execution, and post-event analysis.

  • Provide technical support to suppliers before, during, and after RFP and e-auction events.

  • Understand and assess contract terms, including business and legal provisions.

  • Regularly report pipeline savings to category leads and senior leadership.

  • Ensure business objectives are met through effective vendor and procurement team management.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred).

  • 8-10 years' strategic procurement experience within a manufacturing environment at a global or regional level.

  • Proven expertise in direct or indirect procurement across a range of commodities.

  • Strong experience in e-auctions, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.

  • Proficiency with procurement tools such as Ariba, Coupa, or Workday - Scout RFP.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at senior levels.
