Senior Supply Chain Project Manager - Global Logistics
14-Month Fixed Term Contract
A leading global healthcare manufacturer, renowned for its extensive product range and robust global footprint, is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager to join their Global Logistics team. With an established corporate headquarters in Ireland, this organisation is undergoing a significant transformation within its global supply chain function.
This pivotal role focuses on optimising the organisation's new Transport Management System (TMS) across their global operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving system implementation, process improvement, and ensuring seamless data migration to enhance global logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the new TMS and data warehousing solutions meet business needs and align with operational requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules to meet milestones, leading cross-functional teams to transition sites from current systems to the new global processes.
- Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of data as part of the TMS rollout.
- Monitor KPIs, provide regular updates and reports, and proactively identify risks in line with the project plan.
- Lead all global projects associated with TMS optimisation, including acting as the project lead for global distribution initiatives.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Extensive experience in managing projects within global supply chain functions, ideally in fast-paced environments such as FMCG, medical devices, or electronics.
- Proven expertise in implementing Transport Management Systems (TMS) at a global or regional level.
- Strong background in data warehousing, project planning, and implementing supply chain solutions for TMS or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Exceptional leadership and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
